Agency and clinic responsibilities

A coordinator helps with selection, appointments, organizational stages and information sharing. The clinic is responsible for doctors’ consultations, examinations, prescriptions and medical procedures. The agency’s specific services are recorded in the contract: understand what is included and who carries out each task before starting.

Communication plan

Agree on communication channels, how questions reach the doctor and how updates are shared. Ask whom to contact for appointment changes, stage changes or additional documents. A coordinator does not replace a doctor; urgent medical matters belong with the clinic or emergency services.

Preparing for the first conversation

Briefly explain whether you need a surrogate or egg donor. Tell us if a clinic and program plan have been chosen. Prepare organizational questions and preferred timing. Share medical documents only after agreeing on a safe method and recipient.

Contract and individual estimate

Before paying, request the service list, payment stages, terms for program changes and potential extra expenses. Agree on responsibilities and arrangements in the contract. If several providers are involved, clarify who signs each agreement and receives each payment.
